The Executive Women’s Summit strives to be the most exclusive, powerful and senior-level women’s leadership organization in Colorado.
To provide female executives with the education and connections needed to create the professional, personal, and philanthropic lives they want.
Since her early years, Kristen Kenton has been enthralled with both the art and science behind leadership and diversity. She found her passion at the tender age of 18 when she was promoted to Staffing Manager at a boutique, technical recruiting and consulting firm. She quickly recognized the opportunity to build a career she loved within Recruiting and Talent Management.
After building a strong foundation in the contingency recruiting industry, Kristen seized the opportunity to broaden her knowledge behind the art and science of leadership at McDermott & Bull, a CA-based, retained executive search firm. Kristen entered the organization as an Executive Recruiter, and was promoted seven times during her six-year tenure. Due to her success, she was one of only two professionals ever promoted from Recruiting to Principal / Partner. With a strong desire to return to her home state of Colorado, Kristen relocated to open the firm’s first out-of-state office.
Due to a deeply-rooted entrepreneurial spirit she inherited from her father, it was only fitting that Kristen build her own recruiting firm. As the Founder and President of Kenton Talent Management (KTM), an innovative, retained executive search firm, Kristen enjoys leveraging her experience in hiring and retaining “best in class” leaders throughout the nation. Kristen is also able to fully embrace her fascination and appreciation for the impact great leaders can have, both on organizations and society as a whole.
Kristen’s growing passion for helping her clients build sophisticated and diverse executive teams led to the creation of the Executive Women’s Summit (EWS). As the Founder & President of this exclusive and one-of-a-kind organization (and with the help of dynamic Board of Directors), the EWS has experienced double digit growth every year since its inception.
The exclusive quarterly gatherings hosted by the EWS provide executives with the opportunity to broaden their leadership expertise, create authentic and senior-level relationships with their peers, and engage with the philanthropic community. These events are by invitation-only and designed exclusively for executive women that impact and lead people and/or corporate business strategies. The annual co-ed event was designed for executive-level men and women, as well as their mentees and/or sons and daughters, to address the impacts of the multi-generational workforce on business and society as a whole. The EWS expanded in 2015 to include gatherings focused on Diversity, Inclusion, and Mentorship. The leadership team is also building the EWS University, which will offer price competitive and custom leadership development programs for individual executives and corporations of all sizes.
Kristen enjoys public speaking and has served as a Mentor within the Executive Mentorship Program at the Daniels College of Business. She is happily married to her first love, CJ Kenton, whom she met in Kindergarten! They recently had their first child, Simon, an intensely funny and charismatic baby boy. Kristen has been a nominee of the Denver Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” and “Outstanding Women in Business” awards.

"It’s great to connect with like-minded professionals doing impactful things in our city and around the world!"
“I keep attending the Executive Women's Summit because of the honest, candid and genuine conversations that happen between women that attend these sessions.”
“What a dynamic, diverse, stimulating group of women. I met so many new people and learned from each one of them.”
Kristen Kenton puts together first class events with impactful networking and timely and relevant topics/speakers. I also really appreciate that she provides a non-profit organization to present their cause and gently remind us of the need to make sure we are giving back to the community.
"The atmosphere was comfortable making networking easy, even without knowing anyone on the first visit. EWS is definitely on my schedule each quarter."
A special thanks to our Annual Sponsor: USI (formerly Van Gilder) for their continued support of this program and women in leadership. Learn more about them and their involvement in the community: www.usi.biz
